Born in 1918, Compañía Vinícola del Sur is one of the most iconic wineries in Montilla-Moriles, especially for its pioneering international vocation.

Over the years, Cía. Vinícola del Sur has carried around the world brands that are an integral part of the history of this Appellation such as Monte Cristo and Tomás García.

Bodega de Los Ángeles

Built in Aguilar de la Frontera in the 1960s, the spectacular architecture of Bodega de Los Ángeles boasts a distinctive Moorish inspiration. It is popularly known as La Mezquita and for a long time, it housed part of Tomás García's oldest soleras.

Since 1985, Compañía Vinícola del Sur —also known as Vinsur— has been part of the Pérez Barquero Group, one of the quality leaders in Denominación de Origen Montilla-Moriles.
